System Overview

The Occupancy Monitoring System (CESC-Park Circus) is designed to track and monitor the real-time location of employees, security personnel, and visitors within the premises. This system helps ensure safety, optimize space utilization, and maintain operational efficiency.

Our system uses floor-mounted devices and location tracking technology to provide accurate positioning data for authorized personnel within the facility.

Location Data Collection

What we collect:

  • Real-time indoor location coordinates of employees
  • Movement patterns and floor-level positioning
  • Entry and exit timestamps from different zones
  • Device identification information for tracking purposes

How we collect it: Location data is collected through strategically placed floor devices that communicate with employee badges or tracking devices. The system continuously updates position information as individuals move throughout the facility.

Important: Location Sharing Only Within Office Premises

The mobile app only shares location data with the server when the device is physically present within the office premises. Office locations are stored in our database, and when the app opens, it compares the current GPS location with the stored office coordinates.

If the current location matches the office premises: Location data is shared with the server for tracking and monitoring purposes.

If the location does not match: No location data is shared with the server. The app does not track or monitor employee locations outside of office premises.

How We Use Location Data

We use employee location data for the following purposes:

  • Safety Monitoring: Ensure employees are in safe zones and quickly locate personnel during emergencies
  • Occupancy Management: Monitor crowd density and optimize space allocation across different floors and areas
  • Operational Efficiency: Track movement patterns to improve workflow and resource allocation
  • Attendance Tracking: Automate attendance records based on presence in designated work areas
  • Security: Monitor unauthorized access to restricted areas and ensure security personnel are properly positioned
  • Visitor Management: Track visitor movements and ensure they remain in authorized areas
Data Storage & Retention

Storage: All location data is stored securely in our database with appropriate access controls.

Retention Period:

  • Real-time location data: Retained for 30 days
  • Historical movement logs: Retained for 1 year
  • Attendance records: Retained for 3 years as per company policy
  • Visitor access logs: Retained for 6 months

After the retention period, data is either anonymized for analytics purposes or permanently deleted in accordance with data protection regulations.

Data Security Measures

We implement multiple layers of security to protect location data:

  • Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption protocols
  • Access Control: Only authorized personnel with specific permissions can access location data
  • Authentication: Multi-factor authentication required for administrative access
